Hello everyone,
After few silent years today we started a new chapter of food-with-love.com.
As a mother and a foodie this is a long awaited proud moment for me.
Here I am introducing my elder daughter Aarna as the new partner of my food-with-love.com. She is a 2nd grader and loves to cook a lot. Since she was 4-5 years old, she always wanted to cook something and tried to create her own recipes. She is so curious of Sri Lankan foods and spices too.
6 years back when I started my journey with food-with-love.com, you all gave me a warm welcome and encouraged me to the fullest. For that, I am so thankful for you all. I strongly believe you will support and encourage my daughter as you supported me. I invite you all to watch her videos and show your kindness and love toward her.
Like mother, like daughter,
Here we start our journey together,

How to make Kokis (Curry Leaves flavored) – කරපිංචා රස කොකිස්
Kokis name has come from dutch word call “Kokeje”. It means “Cookies”. Scandinavians also make the same kind of cookies call “Rosette cookies”.They specially make it for Christmas eve as a traditional food. In India they call it “Rose Cookie” or “Achchu Murukku” Different countries, alternative ingredients, same method, same food But different names.
In this video I have made curry leaves flavored Kokis. As I believe Curry leaves are very healthy ingredient most South Asians used to add in their food. It gives good taste, It has strong tempting aroma and also It has lots of health benefits. Usually in sinhala tamil new year season, we get to eat so much sweets. So the Ingredients such as curry leaves, Cumin, olive oil could help you to make those sweets in healthier way.
Hope to try out more flavors and share with you all.
